Eveready recently donated batteries to power 150 torches as part of The Birches’ annual Torch Walk which took place on the evening of Thursday, 31 May 2018.

In the early hours of the morning, you hear the kids rushing down the stairs. Suddenly your bedroom door is opened and you find them all jumping on your bed, as they cannot contain their excitement.

As we continue to see advances in technology, our gadgets becoming even more complex and sophisticated. We are somehow comforted by the good old faithful battery, as the swapping and charging of batteries have remained unchanged.

For the 5th year in a row, Eveready is proud to have donated 150 black and yellow torches with batteries for each child doing the Eveready Torch Walk, at The Birches pre-primary school.

The June/July school holidays are upon us and Eveready would like to encourage parents to use this opportunity to inspire their child to develop a passion and love for science through education, by conducting easy and fun experiments at home.
