2018 Battery Whiz Quiz

Calling all bright sparks – our annual Battery Whiz Quiz is back! This will be the third consecutive year we’ve tested your knowledge, only this time we’re giving you the chance to WIN one of 10 awesome 6000mAh power banks worth R300!

The 2018 Battery Whiz Quiz will take place on our Facebook page every weekday between 2 – 13 July 2018. Entrants who correctly answer the daily battery-related question will be placed into the daily lucky draw to WIN a power bank. As South Africa’s dominant battery brand, we can’t wait to see just how much you know about the humble battery! Wow us with your knowledge and you may just be one of this year’s 10 lucky winners.

How to Enter:

• Look out for the daily battery-related question, which will be posted on our Facebook page every weekday at 9am.
• Each competition post will include a link to a page on our website, where you will be able to find the answer.
• Once you have found the correct answer, write it out in the comments section of the competition post before entries close for the day at 4pm.

Remember to “like” our Facebook page so you don’t miss any important updates!

Winner Selection:

• Entrants who answered the question correctly will be entered into the daily lucky draw, where a winner will be randomly selected.
• The daily winner will be announced on our Facebook page shortly after 4pm.
• Each of the 10 winners will win a 6000mAh power bank worth R300, which will be delivered once the entire competition has come to a close.

• The competition period will be from 2 July 2018 to 13 July 2018. No late entries will be accepted.
• There will be ten winners in total and each winner can only win once.
• Entrants will be informed of the competition entry method and prizes on the Eveready social media pages and in a website article.
• This competition is only open to South African citizens residing in the country.
• Prizes are not transferable and cannot be deferred or exchanged for cash.
• Prizes will only be issued after the close of the competition.
• Winners may be required to appear on the Eveready social media platforms or in printed publications, for which no fee will be payable.
• Eveready (Pty) Ltd and its associate advertising agency/sponsor reserve the right to cancel the competition without any prior notice and at any time, if deemed necessary in their opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of their control.
• In the event of such cancellation, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Eveready (Pty) Ltd, House of York, their employees, agents, partners, sponsors or promoters.
• The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• Eveready (Pty) Ltd will not be held responsible for any delay in delivery of any prizes awarded.
